So finally at 11am I decided my food was digested enough to go for a run. So I geared up and set out to run the same route as yesterday. Except today, my LEGS were cramping (and not my sides). I ran the same path but walked the last .2 mile instead of running it. I seriously got inside and thought my legs were injured or something. I limped upstairs and decided to take a steaming hot bubble bath. I massaged my legs, put on a face masque, and read a few pages of my book. My legs were feeling MUCH better and I realized it could not possibly be anything worse than my legs being tired and me needing to rest them. I am definitely not running tomorrow. Jeff just called (as I was typing this) to inform me he’s getting me into spin tonight so I’m actually kind of glad that I didn’t run too much. I’ll spin tonight and then tomorrow at the gym I’ll probably walk on the treadmill and do the elliptical to keep my legs going but not overtrain before my race Saturday (over which I am FREAKING OUT!)
For lunch I heated up the last of the ratatouille and mixed in 1/4 cup of cooked quinoa. I ate a wedge of goat camembert while it rotated in the microwave and then I found these individual servings of whole wheat melba toast in the pantry (the little packet in the picture). They were pretty good! For the packet it is 60/0/4. Nice find!
Lunch:
1 cup ratatouille
1/4 cup cooked quinoa
1 packet melba toast
1 wedge goat camembert (not pictured)
Off to walk the dog, run an errand (FINALLY taking my camera to be repaired so you aren’t always subjected to cell phone pictures), and probably nap before spin since I was up so early for yoga.
Go and sweat today!
